New Jersey born professional with the drive of a Chicagoan, dedicated to solving problems both large and small. He has a background in assisting the education of learners in Laos, Vietnam, this is where his passion for Organizational Development and social justice began. John has a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development from University of Louisville. He seeks to resolve business issues and with a love of individuals, he aims to help them find success--even if that success is combating systems of oppression against people of color. John knows how important having a voice at the table can be and is using this to enact lasting change, starting with the future students of Oasis Academy. After working in the non-profit space and recognizing a desire to create sustainable change, he is excited to be a part of OA and help add his expertise. With a specialty in administration and people management, John offers 10 years of sales, operations, and human resource experience that have impacted his mission as an ally and champion for social justice and equity. Having worked in both large organizations and small businesses, John currently works as a Client Development Associate for Opinions4Good (Op4G)--excited to encounter a new challenge.

She represents the best of ‘career changers’, a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Hospitality. She decided to change fields because education was always a passion. Because of this, she graduated from National Louis University with a Masters in Education. She taught intermediate grades for Chicago Public Schools for 5 years, before relocating to Texas with her husband and two young sons: Julian and Jace. Jennifer has years of experience teaching English to students in China virtually through VIPKID, providing an immersive English experience. Now, she propels learning and promotes explorative learning as she homeschools her sons, taking steps to champion equitable education.

A busy mom of 6 sons, she also holds a Masters of Education from National Louis University and acts as an instructional coach and school leader. Rhea is currently the Middle School Department Lead and supervises the after-school program at McDade Elementary School. Between full time teaching, balancing karate, and her duties as a mom, she makes time to ensure the equity of students like her kids.
